Twelve men went this year to the Men’s Advance at the Payne County Expo Center in Stillwater, OK. The theme for this year’s Advance was “How Giant’s Fall” based on the story of David and Goliath. Dr. Bill Rice III was the special speaker this year and he really brought two fantastic messages. Pastor Wayne Hardy, his dad, Dave Hardy, Jason Jett and M.W. Lawrenz, all of Bible Baptist Church in Stillwater, brought the messages for the four sessions.
All of our men felt that it was the best Advance that they had ever attended. Of course for some of us, this was our first, but it still can be the best for us too.We were all challenged in our lives to face what ever “Giant” was in our lives and with God’s help these could be conquered.
Next year’s Advance is April 26 – 27, 2013, and we challenge all the men of the church to go.
